The Davis Johnson Park and Gardens is a popular spot for “photo ops”; mainly, weddings and special events. This is a lovely park that is used year round for that “special photo”.
The Borough of Tenafly, NJ “acquired the original tract of 5.26 acres in the 1960’s from the Estate of Alliene S. D. Johnson.” Adding another 1.97 acres in 1993; to buffer the park from development of other land, the Davis Johnson Park and Gardens 7 plus acres is a beautiful sight to enjoy.
According to the Master Gardeners of Bergen County website: “The park also contains a greenhouse, maintenance facility, meeting room, gazebo, brick patio, walking paths and some exquisite garden ornaments.”
The Master Gardeners of Bergen County are not the only group that speaks well of this lovely park. The Woman’s Club of Englewood, NJ, has been located at “The Carriage House” since 1895 and hosting special events for a “few years”. They also recommend Davis Johnson Park and Gardens for photo ops.
So next time you want to have a special picture taken – remember the Davis Johnson Park and Gardens in Tenafly, NJ.
